I've been told the guild is becoming a little inactive recently, and while I certainly can't complain since I barely ever play these days during the semester, I thought maybe a nice guild raid would be good to get people back into the game. It would also be nice to party some more bunnies, now that I've joined your fuzzy-nosed ranks So, I propose a full UW clearout (or FoW, or Kings, up to you really) I would say elite mission... but maybe that many people would be too ambitious. Also, a full UW run is long, but not an all-nighter, so it shouldn't be too hard to find time for it. We can set a date and time that will suit most of us (probably a weekend). It's also a challenge, since doing all the quests is something not many people bother with. So post here if you want to come, and suggest a time and place

So post here if you want to come, and suggest a time and place Before the nerf, we could duo some quests at the beginning... but actually doing all quests efficiently involves a lot of time... Like, you shouldn't really take the "restore the monuments" until you've cleared all areas so the popping nightmares won't really make it almost impossible. And until you've done the Restore, you won't have other reapers to give quests or allow to teleport... I'd say I can come as a curser, but SS is not that efficient anymore.

I think the last time I went on a full UW clear out it took us something like 5 hours... maybe more actually. Its a long one, but really fun and satisfying to do it all. We got killed on the last quest - 4 hoursemen- right at the end of otherwise perfect trip >_< I can either go as mesmer or monk, or ranger though I'm horribly out of practice. Curses are always nice though, even if SS isnt what it used to be. I usually play with a necro friend who prefers to be a blood battery, which works really well too.

I'd love to find out how good a paragon is down there. Of course, I don't know how long it'll be until I play Guildwars again. My laptop died in the most literal sense a few hours ago, and I haven't gotten round to a repair shop yet.

I don't know when will I be able to spend 5 hours or more in uw :S I'm happy if I see the 4h msg... :S

Ok, so maybe not a full clearout as it is a bit long, but just a trip to UW and try and do as much as we can before people need to return to their lives.
And yes, we need a date. It needs to be after Monday, and after Reg's laptop is up and running again. The weekend of the 2nd/3rd of December?
Even if we die in the first 10mins it will still be fun!

The weekend of the 2nd/3rd of December? Currently I can't plan that long in advance. I'm not sure if I can come then or not. Things will get more solid by the end of this year though. (Some of you might guess what that means. ) It always is.

Ohhhh, an UW clearout ;D I can't wait to give those damned under-monsters a proper thump on their head...and if anyone wanted a pet spider we could fulfill that request on the way, too. Any buyers for that? As long as you set the date for a weekend I'm around, I can bring just about anything though I'm bound to be rusty after all this time without playing... And, Madraykin; welcome to our humble guild it's good to have you onborad.

I can always coerce a housemate to lend me their computer. Count me in for the raid - Ray is already warming up his soprano ^_^

Glad to see so many people respond! Will be really nice to meet some more of you! We can do a taxi service from LA for people who want to try out their Canthan or Elonian characters there, would be neat to see the new classes in action against some old enemies Lets say Sunday 3rd Dec for now? If anyone can't make it we can change it.

Since I will be moving out of uni on Sunday, would saturday 2nd be ok for you all? Saturday 2nd December, 19.00 GMT at the temple, be there or be square (if you want to get a character there we can do a run from Lion's)

Ray is eager to try it out, and he'll be happy to assist any runner with his leg-boosting shouts
