What is it, if not a punishment? A divine purge? Should I start building an arc?
And for the record, I do feel a little guilty, though I doubt culpability lies with me. It is a little sad to see how quiet the guild is these days, and as a Guildleader it is up to me to do something. A recruitment drive for new players seems like the only likely solution. I'm sure there are some new guildless people posessing the bunny spirit out there.
And on a related note; is there any way to get some of those new bunnies who I don't know at all to say anything?

What is it, if not a punishment? A divine purge? Should I start building an arc? And for the record, I do feel a little guilty, though I doubt culpability lies with me. It is a little sad to see how quiet the guild is these days, and as a Guildleader it is up to me to do something. A recruitment drive for new players seems like the only likely solution. I'm sure there are some new guildless people posessing the bunny spirit out there. And on a related note; is there any way to get some of those new bunnies who I don't know at all to say anything? My two cents: recruiting new bunnies won't solve the problem. You see, we have some new members, who are also inactive a lot. As was said before, the inactivity of old members encourage new members' inactivity. Getting our old bunnies back to play would be a better choice - but how? Anders just got NWN 2, Katrine won't be around, Sarah was always a bit reserved... should I continue? For some, Guild Wars was a one-shot game. They played with it for a long time then they lost interest (or free time for it) so they can't play now. For others Guild Wars could replenish its attractiveness (especially with Nightfall). There are some who skipped Factions, or started to play there. Kicking old members is not the bunny way. I know those who are not active in-game still feels with us (occasional MSN conversations tells me that, if you wanna know). I think they would eventually get back in-game, but (Edem is using Echo) inactivity of others... Yes, there's a lot of new bunnies who stay for themselves. Back before Factions I really felt glad when I logged in, threw a "Hi" on g-chat and everyone answered back. Later, with alliances formed, the same happened on a-chat. Now there's a lot of players who never care for greeting the others or welcoming them. There are a lot of times when I look at the guild roster and say "well, he/she was online 2 minutes ago, but when did they login? they wasn't here when I did." What can be the problem? Well, I say the new bunnies might not feel themselves at home yet. Reason? Inactivity. I say first let's try to get the present bunnies closer to each other again (and even try to seduce inactive old wabbits back to the game) before adding new recruits to our ranks. On an other note: Reg has spent some time creating this forum. Some of us spent a whole lot of time trying to keep this alive. Looking at the user list though.. well, pick 10 random member names (random I said) and you'll find at least one who haven't logged in the past month. Some of us has never posted anything, not even an introductory message in the Who Art Thou thread. I know, Guild Wars is just a game, but the guild is a bit more than that. I know there are people who hate to read forums, or don't have time to answer posts all day, but is it really that hard to check it at least twice a week? Is it really that hard to be interested what your guildmates want to share with you? Actually, I have a feeling at least half the active players never check out the guild announcements either. *sigh* I love this guild, but you have to understand, it's really discouraging when one try to do something for a community, and the community doesn't give a ... cent. (Just an example: there were only 4 contestant for Gelfin's crossword contest. Four. And what's more: I was the only contestant from this guild... I'm not scolding someone specific. I'm scolding everyone. There's two part of guild wars. First, there's the game itself. You can play or not.No-one will get really hurt if you chose to go to the cinema or read a book instead of go farm for some aloe seeds. We all have more important things in the life. (Yeah, I have some now too...) But there's the other part of it: the guild you're in. Originally it wasn't just a list of names. I hope it can be a family again, with the new litter as well as the great old ones. The bunnies are one. Or when some of us (yes, only a few of us) had issues with the previous guild, didn't the bunnies leave them together, the lot standing up for the few? Okay, yes, I admit, I kinda lost my line of thoughts. Anyways. Let's get the bunnies one family again before adding new members and hope they will solve our problems.

Ay, he's right. I didn't seriously believe that new bunnies would solve the problem: I was just evading the real issue. The guildwars fad has passed, just like the slinky, the rubiks cube, and the pog. Getting the old guys back is going to be very difficult.
As for me, I still love the game, and Nightfall particularly, but I suffer from this new obstacle: second year of Uni. Not only is the workload harder, but my extracurricular activities are also more numerous now that I no longer live in a Hall with several hundred people to socialise with. I went out to make my own fun, and by god I found it. I don't think that I'll be able to dedicate myself to any serious playing until holidays roll around. Fortunately, here in England, Uni holidays are grossly longer than needed!

Well just to let you all know and to keep you updated, I am still around although not as much. The same goes for Calin (Advocate). We really want to play more but at the moment we are finding it hard to find time. As many of you are aware I have serious health problems, which have now taken a turn for the worse. Unfortunately my health has made me feel a little anti-social. So if I dont talk much on g-chat its just because I dont feel like talking, it isnt because anyone has offended me etc. Me and Calin recently added two baby rats to our home, they were too young to have left their mum and were in poor health. We have spent alot of time at the vetsand have been building up little Caesar and Cato's confidence and health. To add to it all we took on two more rats who were rescued from a house full of animals. Our two new ratties were the only animals that came out of the house alive, all the rest had died or were put to sleep due to malnutrition and neglect. So as you can imagine they need alot of time dedicated to them, they are very shy and need alot more handling to gain their trust. So as you can see its been a little mad for us here, and we are still trying to look after my six year old son, run a household and still have time for each other All that being said we are trying to make time to be in game and hope to see you all soon, I am also trying to come up with the next competition (purely a PB only one this time to try and get you all interested ). See you all soon gelflin and Advocate

there are some who doesn't answer even when directly addressed. :S WHAT? who?? Point out the crittins so I may smite them with my righteous bunny wrath! Fear me, voiceless ones! BTW, only four more months and I'm done with my military service. Bunnies-rejoice! (Or not, if you'd rather sulk ) Edit: Hmmm....what's wrong with our "wink" emote?

Well, I should've probably done this a lot earlier, but as things goes.. I'm, most probably, quitting GW. I've lost almost all interest in playing the game, and my life at the moment is simply too weird for me to get off my arse and rekindle the interest of old. The story, for those of you who might want it; I started in a new school this August, ended up being bullied by one of the teachers, had a nervous breakdown, too many tests to count, got diagnosed with a mental 'disease' in September/October (Asperger's Syndrome), dropped out of school, got a new cat, had some family drama and had a mental breakdown. Let it be said that I'm not in the best of shape right at the moment. xD; I'm sorry for not telling you guys, but it all happened so fast and it, honestly, didn't occur to me to tell anyone. (Half the time, it didn't occur to me that I needed to eat, either. It's nothing personal, trust me. <3 ilu you guys, y'know.)
PB was, is and will always be THE most awesome guild in my mind. <3 I loved coming back and seeing that I was still here, but you can kick me now. n_n; I'm pretty sure it's over.

I'm pretty sure it's over. Never say never: you'll always be welcomed back to the guild when the time comes.

Most certainly. We will always be here for you if you ever decide that the colours in real life are far too dull, the people too ugly, and the AI too basic.
Just drop ol' Reg a line.

Nope. xD My computer relatively crashed while trying to support the game, and I'm not particularly fond of crashing computers, to be honest.

Right now we're having a bit of a hard time affording food for the whole month, so I'd have to say that'd be quite some time before I got a computer like that.
