So I thought I would start my career as a board spammer by getting to hear all about the lives of your characters. Post stories, poetry, comics or even video re-enactments of how your characters came to be the wonderful alter-egos they are now, from their first hops outside the warren, their first carrots and romantic romps under the full moon, to their finding their way here to this little bunny-asylum!

Nin's story, to get the proverbial boulder rolling Madraykin was found on the doorstep of Ascalon’s great library as a child, having been apparently abandoned by her parents, and refusing to speak to anyone. The librarians took her in and looked after her, while searching for any clue as to who had left her, and while they could find nothing about where she came from, the reason she was left soon became rather obvious. If she was hungry, someone near her would get an inexplicable urge to bring food, if she was bored someone would all of a sudden be gripped by a desire to sing and dance. If she was scolded, the person scolding her would suffer sudden and agonising headaches. The librarians soon began to be afraid of her and her moods, and their strange effects. The head librarian decided that she ought to be turned out of the library, but before he told the others of his decision he mysteriously fell into a fever, crying out that giant bunnies were chasing him, and threw himself out of a window. The others could not be sure what had happened, but their mistrust of her grew, and so she was left alone among the books. She named herself Madraykin after an imprisoned fairy in one of her favourite stories, and latter she gave herself the second name of Nin after her favourite writer. But her quiet life in the library was eventually destroyed when the Charr attacked the city, and began to burn the library down with all of Madraykin’s favourite books in it. The panicked people outside were very surprised to see the whole group of Charr come running out of the library howling in fear, and throwing themselves in the river and drowning, followed by a manically laughing Madraykin surrounded by a shimmering army of savage little rabbits. Since the library she had loved was in ruins, she left Ascalon behind to burn, and decided to travel. Along her journeys she found a pair of monks that seemed to be as dotty as she was; the Twisted Sisters. She joined them, and together they explored Tyria. She became known as Nin rather than her longer first name, and met various people, some of who joined the sisters and her (mostly people who did not mind the occasional illusionary rabbit nibbling their toes). Nin and the sisters always stayed in the best rooms in the finest Inns, and the innkeepers mysteriously always forgot about the payment. In addition to her natural ability to manipulate and dominate, she began to have a curiosity about the morbid and dark magics she had seen others use, and began to learn them from Lago Mortis, another of the twisted sisters, and soon they were summoning up undead rodents to do their deeds. As most of the Twisted Sisters joined the Scouts of Tyria, Nin joined with them, and they rampaged through all corners of the map. However, Nin began to feel strange cravings for carrots, and urges to clean her ears with her tongue. As these urges strengthened, she slowly came to realise that she was in fact a repressed Psycho Bunny, and so left the Scouts to seek others of her kind.

Unlike most adventurers the world over, Ray the Resolute grew up with a stable and happy childhood. He was the son of a wealthy Vabbian ambassador who had settled upon the golden island of Istan with his wife, a former Kournan princess. Growing up in a comfortable beachside bunglow, Raymond Thistlewick Hasan N'boa'tok Khan spent many happy hours frolicking along the seafront, and playing boisterous games with his peers. He had a natural tendency to lead, and his friends were happy to follow the young Ray in any game of his choosing. These games were usually inspired by the stories Ray was taught during his classical education - the young lad's head swollen with the tales of great heroes, leaders of men, evil monsters and exotic lands.
But gradually Ray began to tire of his artificial adventures. No real hero spent the hours between his quests learning hours of mathematics, or had extensive voice coaching and singing lessons. On his 10th birthday, Ray made his mind up. He crept out of his family's home, leaving everything but his favourite spear (which he had whittled himself with the safety blade given to him the previous wintersday) and his papyrus reed shield. The note left on the mantlepiece read:
'Dearest Ma and Da, Have gone out to be a reel man. i will return only when i have slane evil. hope you are well,
Ray'
The young boy was returned home an hour later by an Istani boat captain, who could barely speak through his laughter. 'You just stay at home, sonny-Jim. You've got it good here; loving parents, good education, soft food, tasty beds. You keep an eye on him now, Mr and Mrs Khan!'
It was these words that dispelled the blanket of naivety from little Ray. He thought back to the tales of his favourite heroes and found the missing link. He knew what seperated those mighty adventurers from him - they had all been orphaned at a young age, forced into a life of adventuring to avenge murdered parents. He knew what he had to do.
Of course, he couldn't kill his mother and father, that was for sure. In the great legends, only those who were destined for evil (or those who were in love with one or other of their parents) would commit the act of murder upon those who had given them life. No, a more subtle plan would be required. That night, young Ray left his X-box in full view on the window-sill in the living room, and left the sash window ajar. Then he ran off and hid at the bottom of the garden, falling asleep clutching the handle of his spear.
He awoke in the morning to find his old home still burning. Not wasting a second he ran directly to the Sunspear great hall, and with the panache only attainable through hours of expensive drama tuition he poured out his sorrow, his rage, and his panic. And so it came to be that the young Ray became adopted by the order of the Sunspears. He underwent training with the spear, the shield, and attended many motivational seminars where he learnt how to set fire to things with the power of his voice. This was the life he had dreamed of for himself, and achieved as only a plucky 10-year-old protagonist can.

Cassandra was always a gloomy little girl. The other children never liked her, except for Tome, who always protected everyone, so she always tried to hang out with him, and his best friend, Murdoc - but Murdoc was really annoyed by her. One day he dared her to get the knucklebones of Old Mad Gareth from the catacombs, and she ran off sulking. Murdoc thought she'll leave them alone at last - but she went right off to the deepest dungeons. She was eight years old. Of course she got lost. After six hours of wandering she already gave up on the knucklebone, and she just tried to get out. She was hungry, she was tired. But afraid she wasn't. Somehow she felt safe. She felt as if she'd been at home. And then she felt she's not alone. And she wasn't. When she turned in at the next corner, she met two suspicious men. Surprisingly, her first reaction wasn't to run away, but to ask what the men are doing there. Apparently, the two men was a man and a woman: Oberan the Reviled and Mistress Munne, who was scolding him for his suspicious experiments. She immediately saw Cassie's natural talent, her mystic attunement to the dead. She took her home, and had a long night's talk with her parents.
When she started her studies in the Necropolis (a small and avoided wing of Ascalon's Old Library And School), the other children felt more distant, and their loathing were now accompanied by mistrust, fear and envy. She changed her name to Carnivore Cassie (one of the common nicknames other were calling her), so she wouldn't bring shame on her family's name.
Ten years later she felt she learned everything she could from the library, and she seeked Munne's audience to take the Test of the Necromancers. Munne was proud: not only Cassie was one of her best students, but (despite how the others always taunted and hurt her) she never turned to the dark path of the necromancers. Through her studies with the dead she learned to respect life. After passing her exams (with perfect score) Munne was sure she'll also seek Mhenlo's teachings as well - but instead she headed off to Althea. Later she explained: she spent so many time with corpses of the deceassed, she wanted to study how the living people think. She wanted to know what lead the others to fear her knowledge.
To fund her new studies, she accepted a job at the local cemetary. There she also talked a lot with Mhenlo too. He was quite impressed - even though he thought they both look at the life from the opposite way, their ideas and views wasn't that much different. Her studies beneath Althea were prosperous too - though she never could be as good as those who chose Mesmerizing their primary path, and her lack of experience with living people and social life made her enchanting skills a bit slower, she was quick to learn and she began to notice how her own spells can benefit from what she learned.
Though their ways has separated, she never forgot who started her on her journey, and when she heard about Tome and Murdoc joining the Vanguard, she also seeked audience with the royal guard. Unfortunately, she never met them again. Tome and Murdoc sacrificed themselves against the Charr, when the fire came down from the skies.
Countless were the deceased, and limitless was her anger and hatred against the Charr. After her parents' funeral, she immediately joined Ascalon's remaining forces to try to drive the Charr out of the country - but despite of the small victories they achieved, she had to see Ascalon is hopeless. When King Adelbern cast away his son, she joined him - and the rest is history.

The history of Brass Phoenix is a tale surrounded with contoversy. Many different versions of his past have been sung around campfires, and even close aquaintances have their own stories, often swapped at parties when they can no longer discuss the weather.
In fact, quite possible no one knows the adventures, or even if there were any, of this intrepid wizard before he set foot in Ascalon. When Brass himself is queried about his past, he simply smiles and sets fire to something small and inconsequential. As such, what follows is the best guess of hs life story, based on numerous and often drunken sources.
According to recent rumour, Brass did not actually start out life as a spell weaving elementalist. Apparently he started off as rather eccentric hunter, with remarkable skill with a bow. However, it was clear to everyone that met him that he was insane.
His insanity stemmed from the belief that he was an elven warrior, under the name Brasski (imagination was not his strong suit), and would often see people as things they were not. In one of the more extreme cases he absolutely believed that the mild mannered Monk Kravan Astor was a 7-foot tall orc bare fist brawler.
However, upon meeting a group of adventurers, something changed in the eccentrics frazzled mind. He began to see the real world, reality replacing his fantasy world. He took on the name Brass Phoenix, and started to study fire magic. Later he would discover the joys of dropping rocks on people, but fire was his first passion. Many say that when he began to see reality, his first reaction was one of disgust and he was filled with a desire to burn the universe. Others say that he simply changed from one kind of crazy to a new kind.
Regardless, he followed the group of adventurers to Ascalon where his training began in earnest. Later he would participate in many of the events that would shpe the future, setting fire to friend and foe alike.
Perhaps the most bizarre thing about Brass Phoenix's story is the sporadic way he began to pop up in the annals of history. At this point in time, no one knows where he is. He has been spotted loitering around the Ring of Fire, muttering about competing with a volcano. A number of fires claiming half of the Foreign quater of the market in Cantha.
